Tim Broe graduated in 1999 from the University of Alabama with a degree in Human Performance. A steeplechaser in college, Tim capped an up-and-down college career with the 2000 NCAA championship. After turning pro, Tim suffered through a number of injuries and has switched his focus to the 5000m. At the 2003 U.S. Championships, Tim won the 5000m with a broken bone in his foot, beating the best 5000m runners in the country. Following foot surgery in the fall of 2003, Tim hopes to regain his form in time for Trials.
